With a background in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Carlos is skilled at translating complex scientific concepts into clear and practical information. He also holds an Executive Master’s in Digital Marketing and has developed expertise in social media, SEO, and SEM through training with specialised communications consultancies. In his role, he combines science and digital tools to drive positive change in food and health.
A passionate advocate for whole grains, Carlos played a key role in EUFIC winning Best Digital Campaign at the 2019 European Association Awards for its ‘Hungry for Whole Grain’ campaign. He now leads the #SwitchToWholeGrains campaign, inspiring people to eat more whole grains through engaging challenges, practical tips, accessible information, and delicious recipes.
