Caroline Sluyter is the Senior Director of Operations at food and nutrition nonprofit Oldways, and is also the Program Director of the Oldways Whole Grains Council, based in Boston, Massachusetts. She oversees the Whole Grain Stamp program and heads up the Whole Grains Council’s educational and promotional activities. She has years of experience presenting on a wide variety of whole grain topics, including nutrition and health, marketing and communications, consumer trends, governmental regulations and labeling, and whole grain culinary applications.
Since 2023, Caroline has chaired the International Whole Grain Initiative’s governing board. She was active in the founding of the WGI in 2017 and has chaired the WGI’s working group on communications & partnerships since its creation. Caroline holds a MS from the Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, and a BA from Smith College.
