David Kamau is an accomplished business executive with over two decades of experience spanning the pharmaceutical, FMCG, and NGO sectors.  He serves as the Managing Director of the Fortified Whole Grain Alliance (FWGA), an NGO that offers catalytic support to food system actors to increase the global production and consumption of fortified whole Grain foods. Passionate about driving meaningful impact, he is committed to enhancing food security, combating malnutrition, and advocating for sustainable food systems to benefit children and vulnerable communities in Low- and Middle-Income Countries.

David has a strong background in management and strategy formulation, and a track record of implementing results-driven initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. A Chartered Marketer (CMSA), he has also completed several global leadership courses as well as food systems training from Harvard University and Wageningen University.
